Patricia (Pat) Fairman
Patricia Anne Fairman (Nee Hudgin)

July 2, 1933-May 12, 2018

Patricia Anne Fairman-entered into rest peacefully while surrounded by her family on the morning of Saturday, May 12, 2018 in her 85th year. Devoted wife of Bruce Fairman for 63 years and loving mother of Wendy McDonald, Linda Thaler, Cheryl Moher and David Fairman. She was a wonderful mother-in-law of the late Peter McDonald, Bill Thaler, late Thomas Moher and late Paula Fairman (nee Connolly). She was the cherished grandmother of Michael McDonald (Danielle), Carlie Arbour (Danny); Shelby and Lucas Thaler; Benjamin Moher (Sarah), Emily Prado (Diogo), and William Moher; Sarah, Paul, Peter and Mark (predeceased) Fairman; and great grandma of Avery, James, Mason, Scarlett, Caleb and Finley. Patricia is predeceased by brothers Clare, Nelson, Paul (twin) and Cecil Hudgin, and sister Mable Mark. She will be missed by Bruce’s family Ralph and Gail Fairman, Clare and Marie Perigoe, Hugh and Elaine Fairman, Marlene Fairman and is predeceased by her brother-in-law Carl. Auntie Pat will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Pat will be dearly missed, as she was a warm and caring individual who made everyone feel special in some way. She was a proud Canadian who loved life and encouraged us to live it fully. She had a sense of fun and valued all the right things. In keeping with Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation for friends and family will take place at CELEBRATIONS, 35 Lindsay St. N., Lindsay on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. There will be a Memory Basket at the visitation and service. We would invite you to jot down a memory, or thought about Patricia, sign and drop in basket to share with the family. A private internment will take place at the McNeil Cemetery, Wick. In lieu of flowers, and for those wishing, memorial donations to the, Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated and may be arranged through the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE , 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) or online at
